Why not install the mod that requires a minimum number of posts before creating a topic. I have done this on my board and it had completely eliminated the CRAP

This forum had so much sequirity and manditory fields upon registration, that I lost 5 usernames and 4 emails before I could finally get in... and here are spam bots posting away. all that so called spam security... for?

"Security" mods for phpBB are such a joke, because none of them are actually written by "security expoerts". They're all written by teenagers. Rolling Eyes

All you need to do is make a mandatory post threshold that people need to make BEFORE they are allowed to create a topic. I have this on my board and I also have NO SPAM AT ALL!!!
