I might not be around as much as usual over the next couple days, dont think i am ignoring you, but my HD crashed & i had to get a new PC, so i have to get it up to working condition.

Oh, are you going with Intel or AMD for a CPU? If you're interested, my new AMD 64 4000+ CPU annihilates my old 2.8 Ghz Intel CPU.

I went from an AMD Athlon to an AMD Sempron

And dont assume i should upgrade from ME to XP, XP is a POS compared to ME in my opinion & in the case of my computer, my opinion is all that matters Smile

Its slower, lags alot more, is alot heavier in ram/cpu usage & is just junk.

This new PC has twice the ram of my old one, a better processor & with XP is still slower than my ME computer.

I say ME is bad because from what I hear it is very buggy.

ME uses the 95 shell.. while 2000 & 2003 uses the 98 shell, and xp uses the NT shell..

so, in theory, it would be better since the old 95 & 98 shell's feckin ruled... (plus i had me for 2 years, it was ok... till i finally got 2003... =)

plus austin = super picky / anal / dont like to listen to reason / weird.
