I have wanted this for awhile now but have never seen it. I want a mod that will only allow one account per IP address. Obviously it would have to have some sort of IP logger to where each time a user logs in it updates their ip address. There would still be ways around it for people that use a proxy, but it would still be that much harder for someone to create duplicate accounts.

It gets rather annoying when someone creates a new account because they forgot their password and they arent smart enough to retrieve it. Plus, without this it pretty much defeats the purpose of having the disallow username feature because they can just create a new account.

That would be good except for in my situation on my board, I have quite a few people who bounce all over with shared ip numbers. This also makes it hard to ban a select few based strictly on an ip that others occasionally get tagged with.
