yesterday a weird problem started to happened, when u try to go to my site www.mysite.com/forum/index.php it tells me the site can not be found, the index.php is there ive checked it..

anywhere if u go into the forum via 1 of the forums eg. http://www.mysite.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1 it lets u in, no problem.. but try go to the index page and again it says page not found..

I had a scrolling last ten posts in the index.php which i removed (its been there for months now) and the index.php worked, how strange !!!, but the links below are missing !!!

i uploaded the clean index.php from the phpbb2 install, and no problem with the index.php no more, i can get the forums up through the index ok, but still the View posts since last visit etc links are missing...


any ideas ?

not installed anything new except a few smilies

but still get page not found when i try to go to www.mysite.com/forum/index.php

but if i go to http://www.mysite.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1 etc i can get in and whats even more strange is that if i click the forums index which will bring up www.mysite.com/forum/index.php it works!!!!!!

umm is mysite.com your real site? or are you just putting mysite there instead of the real name of your site?

If you put your real links in there someone can possibly go there and take a looksie at your source code...
