Austin i have a issue with the security at least i beleive its the security not sure yet. It has to do with registering a new account. I've read all the updates i've downloaded and installed recently so i have everything up to date with that. The issue i'm having is. When someone creates a new account the "required" info is put in however it does not allow the persons account to be created. It doesn't even error just loops back to the beginning with all fields blank except for the username. No error nothing i don't understand it. Could you help plz.

i need to reopen the question from above. but a little bit added to it. It would appear that that only one that can change anything in the profile section of the database or create a new account is an admin. Or just myself because i'm the on the pc thats hosting the database. Do you know what is causing this? Or what setting i need to change to fix this i've tried finding a similar situation but i cannot seem to find a resolution to this problem i thought i had fixed it before but it would seem that it has not been fixed.

Its not an error its when you click submit it just deletes all the fields of info. Then no error concerning this not filled in nothin its like when you first load the page to update it after the login.php redirects it to the profile to update the profile its really really wierd if you want i'll pm/email whatever you wanna do the URL to you to take a look for yourself i have a pretty heavily modded board also btw.

As per my post there, that error is not caused by this mod, but none the less i have a fix for it posted in the tutorials section here.

Thanks for the group fix, that DID fix that error. But I still get the security question error on creation. Do you think it would help to uninstall your MOD totally and strip it from SQL then reinstall it? I'm not that versed in PHP or SQL so its the only thing I can think of.

If it where me, i would ensure the edits to usercp_register.php where correct & please open topics for each issue as this topic is the patches topic Smile
