Firstly, this will be a poll.
I would like anyone who votes to post, no need to say anything more than "voted" or something. You dont have to say what your vote was.
I am thinking about removing the support forums from a VIP back to the old way.
To keep things sensable for those who do actually search & have joined the VIP group & have sensable questions, here is my thought.
I can set up a 1 on 1 forum, only readable to VIP members tho, so not everyone will have access. This way if you have specific issues you can address them there. This forum will take priority, altho the others will be answered as well, just maybe not as promptly.
This way you still get individual support for just the VIP group.
I will have 3 options in the poll, choose accordingly. |

I voted to stay as is
I think this works well
HOWEVER.....I feel that if we pay here, then there ought to be the opportunity to also post support questions in AMOD
Perhaps this could be done in such as way that we could add an extra $1 for that opportunity. I don't have many reasons for doing such, but to be unable to do so on the seldom occasion I need it, is rather annoying. |

I havent voted yet just because theres so many different things you could do. A few of us here know most of the fixes or common errors when installing your mods so we can help most of the newer users here.
The other issues like supporting mods that arent yours and new mod requests are all up to you if you want to support them or not.
Your a busy man and dont have alot of time to answer questions all day so its really up to you if you want to open it up for posting again. |

I think if someone is gonna submit mods here they should also be willing to give support for their own mods and not count on aUsTiN or anyone else on staff to to handle it for them, I mean if anyone of us wants to jump in and help that's great but submitting mod authors should as well be responsible for supporting there mods (atleast make an attempt). |

Since im not really getting answered like i had hoped, i have made a decision.
I am going to open all forums on this site & amod. At the same time for the VIP members i am going to join both sites into one membership for the 1 on 1 forums.
So if you sign up here or there, the membership will be good on both sites 1 on 1 forums.
I had a few requests for that, but i am going to have to make the 2 sites "talk" to eachother on the basis of subscription members before this will work. |
