Seems to be really DEAD for quite some time

Is there a different board that people are now going to or what?

I don't know what aUsTiN is going to do. but as far as mario_guy's comment you should know things before you rant and assume things aUsTiN's work not being on phpbb is for a reason and not because they are awful.

It would be nice to have at least posted SOMETHING and update the people who have remained loyal here rather then just let the board drift on endlessly....

Hmmm But yet you still visit this site? Shocked

I do agree with Dragonmaster that a post could have been posted here about not supporting anymore or upgrading mods for phpBB3 BUT in all fairness, he did post exactly that at phpbb-amod site some time back when it first came to be that there was going to be a phpBB3.

I have usedd his mods for years now with a few issues and quick replies from him. Some smart ass answers but for the most part all good answers. I cant blame him for answering the way he did most of the time, due to idiots that dont know how to use the search feature of the website. And I dont belive they are crap is why they are NOT on phpBB there is a reason. Maybe your lack of information and uhhhh READING threads contributed to you saying that. The funny part is you belive they are crap, but yet still visit and post. Laughing

It's just tooo bad no one has offered to buy out his mods and upgrade them for phpBB3, and maybe someone has and we just dont know yet. I personally would use a number of them as well.

And a good moderator or two to help delete the spam here would be cool.

Anyhow, what ever Austin's decision is, I support him fully. To mod or not to mod. Either way, his contributions to phpBB as a whole go MUCH further then most think. PCP integration, ADR support and modding as well, etc etc.

If you think they are crap,then by all means, exercise your right to NOT visit his websites. I dont see him posting and begging for mario guy to PLEASE visit his site and use his mods. If they suck, dont use them, If you like them, use them. Freedom is such a nice thing eh? Exercise your rights!
