It appears you are using a browser that is not based on Internet Explorer, this means you are not viewing the web as good as you should be. Other browsers might try to immitate Internet Explorer, but none can parse the web as it should like Internet Explorer can. So view the web as it was meant to be with Avant Browser!

I figured i'd offer this as a way for those who cant/wont join the membership group to get a way in. I will do more of these as i think of things i need done specifically for this site, maybe some wont be coding if i can think of them, i'll try & hit areas where everyone strives since not everyone is the same. I just dont have time for alot of the little, yet important things i need done specifically for this site.
Challenge #1
Requirements
PHP Knowledge (Moderate)
HTML Knowledge (Beginner)
phpBB Knowledge (Moderate)
We need a bug reports system here. I am not asking for something overcomplicated or a high end mod, its simple.
A drop down of all my mods to select from, this would be best done by using a mods_list.txt or similar, so i can just simply edit that.
Radio options, Security Bug - Coding Bug - Other
A text area for them to type the issue.
A page that shows current open reports unless they are security reports, of course for security reasons.
A way for the submitter to edit their text to better explain or add more to it.
A page for me to add a reply, be it the fix or whatever.
Language keys used, tpl files used, etc..
This needs to be DB driven, the radio options i would prefer be numeric values in the DB for easier passing/matching. The DB needs to store the time of the report (time() format), the user (based on phpBB's user management), the reporters IP for abuse reasons. Each report should have a unique ID. There should also be a field for the mod they have found something wrong with, this will have to be saved as the mods name, since its in a txt for easy access.
Guests are allowed to view, but not submit, for abuse reasons.
PM me if you want to take this on, so i know if doing these kind of things has a point.
For the person who takes on the challenge & finishes it
Prize: 6 months VIP group access.
Winner: N/A
Date Completed: N/A |
