Hi,
i just installed the above mod.
First, i would like to thank you for coding this software :-)
Now i have a question.
While looking through the lines in "lang_main.php", i wondered what will be displayed if somebody is replying to a specific posting.
Here is the answer:
Simply the word "Posting" -
but i can“t find the place to change this, because i don“t use the english language file.
And furthermore, "Posting" contains a link to the specific posting (as seen above), but if i click on it, the thread is not displayed in the correct forum look! (Without borders, in my example)
Is this a bug or did i something wrong?
I think best would be, to have a display like
User x is replying to posting y (with the correct link to Thread y)
Thanks for your help!
(If you need the forum link, i will send it per pm)
edit: i noticed, if somebody creates a new thread there will be the same display "Posting" - but now with a working link (like http://forum.urlxy.com/posting.php?mode=newtopic&f=26) Also here i would prefer something like
is creating a new thread in Forum x
edit2:
I noticed exactly the same bug here! Now i“m sure, it was not my fault ;-)
And with the link above the forum will be displayed this way (without borders)

Sorry for creating a dummy user, feel free to delete this one (delete_me_please) - only for testing purposes |

| It cant be found. If its not a pre-set language string, it uses the filename as where they are. In your case they are located on "posting.php" so it uses "Posting" (the file name puncuated). |

Hi,
okay.
But is there a way to display the action as i suggested above?
Like "User x is replying to posting y" / "is creating a new thread in Forum x
"?
And what about the display problem, if somebody uses the posting-Link? |
